U.S. service academies

Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner announced that students from Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District have received nominations to the U.S. service academies. Henry Rahmes of New Berlin has been named an alternate nominee to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Kevin Morrissey

U.S. Air Force Airman Kevin Morrissey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Morrissey is the son of Denise and Daniel Morrissey, and brother of Alison Morrissey of Muskego.

Morrissey is a 2016 graduate of Muskego High School, Muskego.

Christ R. Walker

U.S. Air Force Airman Christ R. Walker graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Walker is the son of Christ and Robin Walker of West Allis.

Walker is a 2015 graduate of Heritage Christian Schools, New Berlin.
