Moonshine from Casey Jones Distillery.

In 2017, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is going to be known for two things: the total solar eclipse and moonshine.

We know that Hopkinsville is in the path of totality on Aug. 21, but it's also the home of Casey Jones Distillery, which has the "Official Drink of the 2017 Solar Eclipse."

It's moon-shine. Get it?

The epicenter of the solar eclipse happens just two miles from the western Kentucky distillery and you can sip its commemorative liquor for the momentous event.

Be careful, the Total Eclipse Moonshine is 100 proof, so it's quite potent. It's available at the distillery in Hopkinsville or in many Kentucky liquor stores.

Casey Jones Distillery has also planned events around the eclipse. More information can be found at caseyjonesdistillery.com.
