STEVENS POINT - A Stevens Point man faces drug charges after the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force found more than 30 marijuana plants growing in his yard.

Police served a search warrant at the home of Timothy Mutschlecner in the 3300 block of Prais Street after learning marijuana may be growing there. They found more than 30 plants in the back yard and marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Stevens Point Assistant Police Chief Tony Babl said police requested charges from the district attorney for possession and manufacture of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He said police did not arrest Mutschlecner because he cooperated with the investigation at his home.
