Police searches uncover pot, meth, $24K

PLOVER - Police seized 217 marijuana plants, 56 grams of methamphetamine and more than $24,000 in cash from three homes this week in the village of Plover.

Police found a suspected marijuana-growing operation during a search of a home Tuesday in the 3000 block of Revere Road, according to a news release Friday from the Plover Police Department. Officers seized 217 marijuana plants, along with 14 grams of raw marijuana and small amounts of methamphetamine and LSD, the release says.

The investigation is still ongoing and no names have been released, but a 34-year-old woman and two young children were present during the search, the release says.

Police working on a separate investigation searched two different homes Thursday in the village of Plover and found 56 grams of methamphetamine, nearly 100 grams of marijuana and $24,023 in cash, the release says. The first home was in the 1100 block of Dodds Drive and the second was in the 1100 block of Emerald Drive.

Two people, 34-year-old Pao Vue Xion and 28-year-old Fuchee Daniel Mouanoutoua, were arrested on suspicion of charges related to the two searches.

Citing a lack of compelling evidence, a prosecutor said no charges will be filed in connection with an incident late last year involving a 2-year-old boy who ingested methamphetamine.
