Voting in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, election will feature tight races mainly on the national level.

Most voters in both Muskego and New Berlin will choose between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. However, five other candidates also are running for president. They are Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party, Libertarian Gary Johnson, Jill Stein of the Wisconsin Green Party, Monica Moorehead of the Workers World Party and Rocky Roque De La Fuente of the American Delta Party.

The race for the senate features Republican incumbent Ron Johnson locked in a contest with former Senator Russ Feingold, a Democrat. Libertarian candidate Phillip Anderson also seeks the post.

Muskego and New Berlin voters in Congressional District 1 will help decide the race between incumbent Paul Ryan, speaker of the House, and Democrat Ryan Solen. Also running are Libertarian Jason Lebeck and Spencer Zimmerman, a Trump conservative.

New Berlin voters in Congressional District 5 will have a choice of incumbent Republican F. James Sensenbrenner Jr., Democrat Khary Penebaker and Libertarian John Arndt.

Other legislative and Waukesha County candidates are running unopposed.

The polls in both communities will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The polls in New Berlin are:

Aldermanic District 1: Hickory Grove Senior Center, 2600 S. Sunny Slope Road; District 2: New Berlin Community Center, 14750 W. Cleveland Ave.; District 3: New Berlin West Middle/High School Performing Arts Center, 18695 W. Cleveland Ave.; District 4: Peace Lutheran Church, 17651 W. Small Road; District 5: New Berlin Library, 15105 W. Library Lane; District 6: Hoover Elementary School, 12705 W. Euclid Ave.; District 7: New Berlin City Hall, 3805 S. Casper Drive.

The polls in Muskego are:

Aldermanic District 1: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School, S66 W14325 Janesville Road; District 2: Muskego Library, S73 W16663 Janesville Road; District 3: Atonement Lutheran Church, S70 W16244 Martin Drive; District 4: Muskego City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Ave.; District 5: Fox River Christian Church, S67 W19491 Tans Drive; District 6: Tess Corners Fire Station 4, W195 S10030 Racine Ave.; and District 7: Tudor Oaks Retirement Community, S77 W12929 McShane Drive

All town of Norway voters cast their ballots at the town hall, 6419 Heg Park Road.
