The New Berlin Clerk’s Office will extend the period of time voters can cast an in-person absentee ballot for the 2016 Presidential Election.
The clerk will begin in-person absentee voting on Oct. 17 and will be available to voters until Friday, Nov. 4. The clerk’s office in city hall, 3805 S. Casper Drive, is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays with extended hours until 5 p.m. on Nov. 3-4.
Remember to bring a photo ID as it is required to vote using an in-person absentee ballot and at a polling location. If you are not registered to vote in New Berlin, make sure to stop by the clerk’s office from now until Nov. 4 to update your voter information.
The state requires all voters submit proof of residence when registering to vote. Visit the city’s website to find what qualifies as proof of residence and to see what types of photo ID are acceptable for voting.
