In case you weren't sure, Reince Priebus is very thankful that he works on behalf of President Trump's agenda.

"On behalf the entire senior staff around you, Mr. President, we thank you for the opportunity and the blessing you've given us to serve your agenda and the American people," the White House chief of staff said. "So we're continuing to work very hard every day to accomplish those goals."

His choice of words caught the attention of some:

Priebus wasn't alone in his compliments. His comments came during a Cabinet meeting in which each member praised Trump.

"Greatest privilege of my life," Vice President Pence said after Trump asked everyone to go around the table and say their names.

The meeting didn't escape the notice of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who mocked the Cabinet by staging his own praise-filled meeting.

As the New York Democrat asked about how his appearance following Sunday show appearances and the gym, one staffer cuts in: "Before we go any further, I just want to say thank you for the opportunity and blessing to serve your agenda."

On Sunday, Politico published a story that Priebus, previously the chairman of the Republican National Committee, is under pressure from the president to shake up the White House staff by July 4. Such a shakeup could mean that Priebus himself would be out of a job.
