With altered lineups due to spring break, New Berlin Eisenhower's boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Sussex Hamilton Invitational on April 19.

The Lions girls took seventh out of 10 teams with 37.75 points and the boys scored 43 points to take eighth.

Sean Moore took home the 110-meter hurdles title with a time of 16.18 seconds. The senior also came in seventh in the 200 in 23.80 seconds.

The relay team of Ben Buechel, Moore, Aaron Macdonald and Brandon Ahles placed third in the 4x200 in 1 minute, 38.58 seconds. Rob Snyder was fourth in the 3,200 in 10:35.24, Danny Browne took fifth in the 800 in 2:10.50, Ahles was fifth in the 300 hurdles in 44.85 seconds and ninth in the 110 hurdles in 18.82 seconds and Erik Diedrich placed sixth in the 1,600 in 4:52.30.

Amanda Leder collected a pair of top-five finishes for the girls team, placing third in the 800 in 2:37.30 and fourth in the 1,600 in 5:54.33.

Sarah Leitinger was third in the high jump clearing 4 feet, 6 inches. Arielle Winter took fourth in the 300 hurdles in 56.12 seconds and ninth in the 100 hurdles in 19.48 seconds and Kate Watson was fourth in the 100 hurdles in 17.42 seconds.

Other top-10 finishes included Brooke Sullivan taking sixth in the 300 hurdles in 58.77 seconds, Mary Sommers coming in eighth in the high jump at 4-02, Natalie Zoccoli placing eighth in the discus at 76-08 1/2 and Madison Fuller taking eighth in the 400 in 1:12..08.
