Despite placing third and second at the final two divisional mini meets of the season, New Berlin Eisenhower's boys golf team won a share of the Woodland West title thanks to the work it did early in the season.
Pewaukee won both of last week's mini meets to catch Eisenhower for a tie atop the division standings.
The Lions took third at the fifth Woodland West mini meet of the season on May 10 at Western Lakes, shooting a 168 to come in one shot behind second-place New Berlin West and three strokes in back of Pewaukee.
Ian Gatzke and Dylan Karvala each shot a 41, followed by Kellen Hintz (43), Charlie Grotkin (43) and Eric Komas (44).
Eisenhower shot a 170 to take second, seven strokes behind Pewaukee, at the final mini-meet of the season at Wanaki Golf Course on May 11.
Gatzke led the Lions with a 40, with Karvala (42), Komas (43), Nich Hough (45) and Hintz (46) completing the lineup.
The West and East divisions were scheduled to combine for two events this week, the Woodland Conference mega-mini at the Broadlands Golf Club on Monday, May 15 and the Woodland Conference tournament at Washington County Golf Course on Thursday, May 18.
