The Arizona Coyotes have parted ways with coach Dave Tippett, another move under owner Andrew Barroway that has prompted questions about the future of the organization.
The team also recently parted ways with veteran Shane Doan and traded goaltender Mike Smith.
Doan had been with the organization since 1996. Smith had been with team since 2011.
Tippett had been the Coyotes coach since 2009.
Fans took to social media Thursday night to vent about Tippett and the state of the Coyotes after the news broke.
