See the vicious LSU clothesline that marred Wisconsin's celebration

No. 6 LSU's season-opening loss to Wisconsin at Lambeau Field already was going to be a bad look for a team projected by many to reach the College Football Playoff.

Tigers offensive guard Josh Boutte made it ugly.

Boutte, a senior, clotheslined Badgers junior safety D'Cota Dixon after Dixon sealed Wisconsin's 16-14 win by intercepting LSU quarterback Brandon Harris with 57 seconds left to play.

Boutte was assessed a flagrant personal foul and ejected. He appeared to recognize that he had lost his cool when he went to the bench for the game's final seconds. After the game LSU coach Les Miles said he didn't realize Dixon had been down before the hit, and that, "He's not a malicious guy."

LSU coach Les Miles announced Monday that Boutte will be suspended for LSU's next game, at home Sept. 10 vs. Jacksonville State.

Predictions for Wisconsin have been measured this preseason, as the Badgers face one of the nation's toughest schedules. But they just cleared what was considered the biggest hurdle of the slate.
