Deshaun Watson, Leonard Fournette among 22 players scheduled to attend NFL draft
When the first round of the NFL draft begins on April 27 in Philadelphia, 22 players are expected to be on hand as they wait for their opportunity to shake hands with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, LSU running back Leonard Fournette, Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer and North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky were among the big names on the expected attendee list, which was released by the NFL on Thursday.
Notably absent from the list is projected No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett. The Texas A&M defensive end said in February he plans to watch the draft from home in Arlington, Texas.
